Donate

We appreciate your donations of new or gently-used clothing, household items, furniture, toys and more! We want your donations to have the most impact to share the good news of Jesus Christ!

We do ask that you only donate items that are in clean, working and sellable condition.

Unfortunately, there are some items that we are unable to accept due to the high cost of disposing of items that we can't sell.

What we accept:

  • Clothing (all ages, all seasons)

  • Shoes & accessories

  • Housewares & small appliances

  • Furniture in good condition

  • Books, toys, and games

What we cannot take:

  • Large appliances

  • Large/heavy desks

  • Mattresses

  • Pianos/organs

  • Metal file cabinets

  • Entertainment centers

  • Cribs/car seats

  • Exercise equipment

  • Tube TVs

  • Computers/printers

  • Construction, paint or building materials

  • Hard-wired items that can’t be tested (e.g., light fixtures)

  • Large pieces of furniture that are heavy and difficult to move

  • Furniture items that are dirty, stained, ripped, broken, covered in pet hair or in unsellable condition

Volunteer

Our volunteers are the reason we have such an immense impact. Whether you’re looking to volunteer for just a few hours a month or regularly each week, Legacy Thrift provides an opportunity to meet neighbors, make friends and make a global impact. You can volunteer in various capacities, engaging your passions and skills.
